tutankhaum exhibition & hotel weekend break

My very educated archealogist  friend Richard rang me on skype hot from his latest dig excavating ancient toilets in deepest Peru. The disjointed skype delayed words finally filtered through ” I know you are going to think me crazy but I want to go and see the Tutankhamun Exhibition before it finishes at the end of August. I believe it is at the O2 Arena, could you sort out a deal for me, with rail tickets, hotel etc. No problem I said I have a deal already in place with a choice of hotels from £ 80 per person including a night in a hotel and tickets for the exhibition, just choose a  hotel and I will sort it out - Tutankhamun Exhibition Hotel Package.

dirty weekend in edinburgh for millennium virgin

3

My mate SJ has not had a man since the start of the millennium according to her! So imagine my surprise when she called me today to arrange a dirty weekend in Edinburgh. I have finally found a chap I want to do it with  she enthused and he works and lives in Scotland. Convenient I said when you live in Leeds but hey !  I want a really swish hotel centrally located with funky themed rooms in case we want to get kinky - too much information - handcuffs and whips whirling through my brain. I sorted her out with The Scotsman - one of the nicest central hotels I know and gave her the address of the nearest adult gifts shop and wished her well. Do you have advice for SJ to make her dirty weekend go with a bang? Do post back but keep it clean.!!

fathers day gift - weekends activity break

0

Jules rang - now rather than the usual cigars and whisky i want to do something different for dad for Fathers Day! He is into guns and the paranormal - so either some kind of haunted thing or clay pigeon shooting would be good. I thought the three of us would make a break of it - Dad, ( obviously) my bro and me, ideally any of the weekends in July / August. Well says I Murder, Mystery weekends are still really popular and “Good Fun” or I can do Clay Pigeon Activity Breaks - in a range of places. Why not do the Edinburgh/ Perthshire Activity Break and then you can combine it with some time in Edinburgh - perfect said Jules see what you can do. If you have some great ideas for something different for Fathers Day then reply back I would love to hear them

visit to the edinburgh military tattoo for gran

0

I would like to take mum away for a break said my sister in law Denise. She fancies Edinburgh and I wondered about going to the Tattoo too, what do you think? i think it is a fab idea, Edinburgh is a great place anytime with lots to do but in a smallish area and the tattoo is really spectacular - gran will love it!

I recommend you sort out a weekend break deal which includes hotel, rail and tickets for the tattoo - hotels tend to be expensive and it will be the best way to get a good deal and everything you need in one place. Denise is checking with mum - watch this space. Have you been to the Edinburgh Tattoo - share your experiences, reply back.

Have you any idea how hard this is going to be I murmured weakly - accommodation is booked up  a year in advance there will be nowhere close by trust me!

If you have any hints and tips where to stay for the next Grand Prix do let me know- reply back…

royal ascot racing break

My chum better known for her social standing and dare I say it her “B” list royal acquaintances most unusually asked for help. Now you know how  I always go to Ascot with Ursula she said…Mmm says I. Wee…l she paused for dramatic  effect to cut a long story short sweetie its all gone  wrong and I am now left high and dry without a ticket…Now I know you can pull strings daarling and I simply cannot miss one of the highlights of the social calendar…I have to be at Ladies Day. a few phone calls and grovelling promises of undying gratitude later I managed to secure the much sought after ticket. To be fair to my chum she was eternally grateful and I await the hamper from Fortnum’s with relish. Share with me your experiences of Ascot or other similar high profile events on the social calendar…it will be the nearest I ever get to going.
